Американські компанії Pfizer Inc і Moderna Inc підвищили ціни на свої вакцини від коронавірусу в останніх контрактах щодо поставок до Європейського Союзу.
Про це повідомляє Financial Times.
Нова ціна однієї дози Pfizer становить 19,50 євро (23,15 доларів), тоді як раніше вона була 15,50 євро ($18,40). Ціна вакцини Moderna сягає 21,48 євро ($25,50) за дозу, тоді як у першій угоді вона становила близько 19 євро.
За даними FT, підвищення цін замовлене перебоями з поставками до ЄС вакцин інших виробників та повідомленнями про побічні ефекти від них.
Умови угод, укладених цього року, передбачають до 2,1 млрд щеплень. Угоди були переглянуті після того, як дані клінічних випробувань показали, що вакцини цих двох компаній більш ефективні, ніж їхніх конкурентів, відзначає видання.
Раніше Європейська комісія заявила, що ЄС має намір повністю вакцинувати не менше як 70% дорослого населення до кінця літа.
