Az amerikai pénzügyminisztérium honlapján szereplő adatok szerint Japán áprilishoz képest 5,8 milliárd dollárral, csaknem 1260 milliárd dollárra csökkentette az amerikai állampapír-portfólióját májusban.
Az amerikai állampapírok legnagyobb tulajdonosainak listáját az előző két évben vezető Kína idén májusban mintegy 1084 milliárd dollárnyi amerikai állampapírral rendelkezett, ami 10,9 milliárd dollárral több áprilissal összevetve.
Az idei harmadik hónapban az amerikai állampapírok harmadik legnagyobb tulajdonosa Nagy-Britannia volt 393,5 milliárd dollárral, utána Írország (323,5 milliárd dollár) és Brazília (264,4 milliárd dollár) következett.
A tíz legnagyobb tulajdonos között van még Luxemburg, Hongkong, Svájc, a Kajmán-szigetek és Belgium. Oroszország amerikai állampapír-állománya májusban 5,39 milliárd dollár volt, ami 1,46 milliárd dollárral kisebb az áprilisi 6,85 milliárd dollárnál.
