Ukrajna kormánya az USA-val tárgyal a cseppfolyósított gáz szállításáról szóló hosszú távú szerződés megkötéséről. Erről Olekszij Orzsely, ukrán energiaügyi és környezetvédelmi miniszter számolt be az UNIAN-nak adott interjújában.
„Nemrégiben vettük fontolóra a hosszú
távú gázimport lehetőségét az Egyesült Államokból. Őket is érdekli ez a
megrendelés… Szerintem nagyon helyes egy ilyen tíz- vagy húsz évre szóló
szerződés aláírása” –mondta Orzsely.
Hozzátette, ha Ukrajna egy hosszú távú
szerződést köt az Egyesült Államokkal a cseppfolyós gáz vásárlásáról, akkor az
még hasznos lehet a jövőbeni Oroszországi tárgyalások során, különösen ha a tranzitszállításról
lesz szó.
Az amerikai cseppfolyósított gázt
Ukrajna csak a lengyelországi terminálon keresztül szerezheti be. Az energiaügyi
és környezetvédelmi miniszter elmondta, hogy a cseppfolyós gáz szállítása
Ukrajnába a Naftohaz, vagy más társaság közreműködésével is megvalósítható. A
gázszállítás mennyiségéről Orzsely nem nyilatkozott.
Meg kell jegyezni, hogy a cseppfolyósított
gáz első tétele január végén érkezett Lengyelországból Ukrajnába a kölcsönös
ellentételezés elve alapján. Vagyis Ukrajna valójában azt az orosz gázt kapta,
amelyet Ukrajna gázszállító rendszerén keresztül kellett Lengyelországba
szállítani.
Korábban vált ismertté az a tény, hogy a
Naftohaz tárgyalt az USA-val a cseppfolyósított gáz vásárlásáról.
Európába a cseppfolyósított gáz az erre
a célra kialakított, újragázosító berendezésekkel rendelkező kikötőbe érkezik, amelyben
a cseppfolyósított gázt gáz alakúvá alakítják át. Az Ukrajnához legközelebb eső
ilyen kikötő Lengyelországban található.
