A háború kitörése óta szinte mindegyik nagy amerikai technológiai óriást érte már valamilyen büntetés Oroszországban. A Facebookot már be is tiltották.
Egy moszkvai bíróság kedden két különböző ügyben összesen 4 millió rubeles (több mint 27 millió forint) bírsággal sújtotta az Amazon amerikai e-kereskedelmi óriást – számolt be róla az Interfax hírügynökség alapján a Reuters.
Az ügyben eljáró bíróság úgy ítélte meg, hogy az Amazon elmulasztotta törölni a kábítószer-fogyasztással és az öngyilkosság propagálásával kapcsolatos tartalmakat, a hatályos orosz törvények szerint mindkettő illegálisnak számít.
Az elmúlt hónapokban nem ez az első alkalom, hogy Oroszországban retorziók érik az amerikai tech óriásokat. A Metát terrorszervezetnek nyilvánították, és erre hivatkozva betiltották. Szintén pénzbírságot szabtak ki korábban Google-ra és az Apple-re is. Az Amazont a háború kitörése óta most először büntették meg.
